2026 Summer Intern position
Looking for a meaningful summer experience where you can build skills, make connections, and help protect one of New England’s most treasured places? The Alliance to Protect Nantucket Sound is seeking a Summer Intern for the 2026 season to join our team!
We are a nonprofit environmental organization dedicated to the preservation and protection of Nantucket Sound, and we’re looking for an enthusiastic intern to support our team this summer.
What you’ll do:
- Assist with event planning and coordination
- Help staff at community events and outreach programs
- Provide office and administrative support
- Assist with communications and organizational projects
- Work on other projects that support our mission
Details:
- Monday–Friday with flexible hours
- Paid internship or school credit available
We’re looking for someone who is:
- Outgoing and enthusiastic
- Organized and detail-oriented
- A strong communicator
- Interested in environmental issues and community engagement
- A team player who enjoys working with people
