Join us for our ACONS (A Celebration of Nantucket Sound) with guest speaker Paul Niedzwiecki, chief executive office of the Cape Cod Chamber of Commerce. Paul will discuss the work of the Cape Cod Blue Economy Foundation, and the integral role our region’s coastal environment, including Nantucket Sound, plays in our tourism economy.

Paul Niedzwiecki

A resident of West Barnstable, Paul is a public policy professional with more than two decades of experience in public administration and crafting environmental and economic policy on Cape Cod.

In his previous role as the executive director of the Cape Cod Commission, Niedzwiecki worked to reorganize the region’s planning and regulatory agency to assist communities in balancing protection of the natural environment and fueling economic growth, while increasing community engagement.

Paul also served as the assistant town manager in Barnstable, where he established the Cape’s first Growth Incentive Zone to bolster downtown Hyannis small business, and was the first chairman of the Cape Cod Water Protection Collaborative.

A live Q&A with Paul and Alliance president Audra Parker will follow the presentation.
